- Had to replace mine too. Those that have a '5100 be careful when running this radio at 50W level. It is possible to overheat the VHF PA module. Mine was not properly coated with heat-sink compound. D

- Careful! This key combination, on the FT-900, only starts a 'soft reset'. You can have the CPU hung bad enough that it may not solve the problem. A complete 'hard' reset ,and full memory wipe, happen
