Hi Sam, yes into a good dummy load is where the reading are from, and when switching to the FT1000D I see 210-220 watts? I am not sure, but Yaesu may just want everyone to think they have more power

I have a FT-1000MP Mark V and have low volume on the headset ONLY, must turn vol. up near max, if I put it on internal spearker I must turn vol. back down to 10 o'clock pos. No problem with the same
