- I have a FT-1000D whose S-meter needle was sticking and now does not move at all. All else in the radio works fine. I am looking for some guidance as to what screws/panels need to be removed in order

- Tony, It is very unlikely that you have a power supply filter problem on your FT 1000D as if there was a PS filter problem I am sure Yaesu Technicians would have spotted that. Easy check, is to liste

- Joe, I doubt if the device requirements for a squelch circuit are very demanding and therefore almost any matching type of silicon NPN or PNP device will work. The squelch circuit is usually not very
