Wow are they ever slow! I just removed the S-meter and put it back again and the whole operation took less then an hour. I havent removed this display glass but it sure doesnt look difficult at all.

As long as the 1000D was in production there surely was modifications along the line. In my service manual there are som but ofcourse they end when the manual was printed, a later manual would ofcour
