Hi all, Could someone please tell me what is the f.s.d. current of the meter in the Yaesu G-600 rotator (not the G-600RC). The circuit diagram lists the value of every other component but omits this

Interesting, I have a FT1000MP which only goes to 35-40wpm with the keyer turned up full. It will go right down to about 5-8wpm. Could anybody with a service manual possibly suggest a pot to turn to

I tend to run with a tuned frontend. On 10/12M the extra gain produced is essential for picking out those weak ones. It would have been nice if Yaesu had given us the option to extend this to 15,17 a

Interesting observation. I played with an FT920 into a 20M monobander at around 100ft, and was very disappointed with the 'sharpness' of the DSP compared with my FT1000MP. Maybe the fact that the DSP

Rewire the MD-1 for an FT1000MP..... I don't think so. I haven't rewired my MD-1 and can switch it between my FT1000MP and FT990 without any problems. However, the UP/DOWN buttons on the MD-1 don't w

Hi all, Can anyone confirm if the EPROM upgrade (from v1.20 to 1.30) for an FT990 is still carried out for free in the U.S.A. I believe they only have to be sent the relevant plug-in circuit board. Y

Hi all, I have a problem with my FT1000MP and was wondering has anyone else had this problem, or know how to cure it. When the 'MP is cold it works fine. When it warms up, after about 20-30 minutes,
