While I agree with you 100%, having recorded combination for all 3 letter suffixes would be a monumental task.... There are 17,576 three letter combinations. If you do only two letter combinations,

Yes, this would be a very useful IMO as well. I would use like UA9CDC like UA9 C D C or WB4 T D H spelling the suffix out like Charlie-Delta-Charlie while using the quick phonetics for prefix. 73! Z
