I believe you can use the mouse on the edge of the bandmap window to drag it vertical or even just resize it to your liking.   I have done this in WL. Rich K3RWN a good ham friend is new to Writelog

Wow, thanks! I hate the horizontal format with the overlapping calls, and calls off the screen. Took a little fiddling around to get it to go vertical, but I love it. I don't remember seeing this in
