Thanks Chad, Now the next issue I found with those interfaces is with the RTS, when it is held hi makes the thing not work... OK, now it looks like I have to find the way to turn off the RTS under Wr

Bob, In general, interfaces that use control lines for power are subject to many peculiararities. (sp?) If you truly want a full RS-232 interface, it will require power. WriteLog asserts RTS (pin 4)
