I've had good luck with the PCI add-on cards made by Siig (www.siig.com) - I bought a card that has 2 ports and can expand to 4 ports (the "PCI Expander 4S", about $70), all with no IRQ problems, etc

I have a similar USB to SERIAL adapter as well. How do you overcome the fact of WL only being able to assign COM1-COM4 in the port assignments. I have tried to reassign IRQ's without much success and

WL uses the upper comm ports for rtty etc... I have had no problem using comm6 on WL - If you have a comm 1 and 2 along with the upper ones, use 1&2 for rig control and the others for other things...

Jim, the WL Ports Setup only shows you 4 "com slots" and the defaults are numbered 1-4. However, you can change the ini file so that those 4 "slots" are numbered differently, e.g. 1,2,6,7 or whatever
