For what it is worth, I've checked the Levino (ThinkPad) T41 and T43's here at work with the sound check program and they fly. I also had the same experience with the sound board program on the brand

Rich, The current HP laptops with "Conexant AMC Audio" will echo the mic to the headphone/speaker output. The Soundboard test program gives them a score of 6b. However, the report indicated that the
