I think Bill has hit it right on the head. If I remember correctly, ARRL rules state that all antennas must be within 500 feet of the shack. But, can you imagine the scores we could generate! 73 Ed

As long as the receiver/transmitter/antennas are in the 500' circle or on the property of the station owner its ok. It doesn't matter how long the mic cord is, i.e. remote control.
