you select PKT - hold down the PKT key for half a second - the radio then switches to RTTY/LSB but is accepting afsk input on the Packet input on the back. I use direct FSK with my ST-8000 but found

I decided to try my own advice and switch to AFSK and it does&acute;nt work as I thought it should. I could have sworn I had afsk working under 'user mode' but it doesn&acute;t. My apologies to all f
