Al, In every contest, I change the fields that get displayed to simplify the logging process. The annoying behavior you describe is the default. I remove the check mark for "Prompt" on all the fields

Yes. Check the new Tools, Keyboard Shortcuts feature that changes the default function of the #1 AND #7 numeric keypad keys. Go in there, and remove the references to them, and you should be all set.

I suspect that the patch input is connected in "parallel" (at the same time) and may be the cause of the problem. If you use the data input, it might not cause the same problem. Worth a try. ________
