I think that I have read about everything on the Writelog reflector archives and I have tried Userport, DLPortIO, and DirectIO but I cannot get parallel keying working on my ThinkPad laptop under XP

Thanks to everyone that responded. I did get the parallel keying working on my ThinkPad using DirectIO. Not sure exactly why, but the tip that seemed to help was using DirectIO's Test32IO.exe program
