Jim, How about: - if the multipliers are Sections AK/HI/KP2/KP4 are sections - if the multipliers are States AK/HI are States, KP2/KP4 are DX - if the multipliers include DXCC countries, AK/HI/KP2/KP

The problem is that WirteLog first opens the port at zero baud and then sets the baud rate. This crashes the several (all?) of the USB drivers - including the FTDI d2xx drivers used by microHAM. 73,
