Les, I agree with Richard. I bought one about a month ago, it arrived from England in less than 2 days. It took me awhile to get it working correctly, it is not plug and play, quite a few adjustments

I agree, there is a lot of the 6 meter band that is not used much and with most all of the activity both CW and SSB crowded between 50.080 and 50.200 or so, even with a pretty good rig, local station

Buddy, I have the IC-9100 with 1296 and I use the Icom AG-1200. It is not the best pre amp but it does help on receive, plus it is powered via the coax from the 9100. I do not have much success with
