- I have sucessfully used NOALOX on a KT-34A. The stuff KLM sends (and sells) with the KT-34 is different and works really well, but NOALOX (or something similar) is readily available at local electric

- Use plenty of anti-oxident! Could be the previous owner did not use a sufficient amount at each connection. If the clamps were not very tight water may have migrated into the joints and over time was
