- The consensus seems to be that the unit I was trying to describe was built by B&W (Barker and Williamson). Also, that Heathkit had one by the late 50's which added a "lid" to the unit, it is thought

- Back in the 60's we used a lot of B&W coil stock, usually one inside another to couple output to an antenna. Still the usual method or a tapped coil, for AM broadcast uisng a tube transmitter. Solid
