I found out today that Fedex want ~$400 to ship a Rohn 25 part. Knowing that I can buy that for ~$120 I found that unreasonable to say the least. Does anyone have any suggestion how to arrange a ship

Maybe try this... I never have. http://www.uship.com/ They look for half/part loads going from A to B. If your A & B match.,... You may have to go get it from some depot, but.. I found out today that

What part? Are you shipping it to your residence? Assuming that this is Fed-Ex freight, it is much less expensive to ship to a business or pick it up at the terminal than to ship to your residence. J

Yeah, check out the freight companies like Yellow (YRC), Central Freight, Old Dominion, etc. I just had 1024 lbs of batteries shipped from Vegas to Norcal for about $300. Your part should be cheaper.

Is there any additional terminal charge when you ship to a terminal? Can you ship to any local terminal, or does it have to be a fed-ex terminal? There is a local truck terminal but of course they do
