Gentlemen, I have a tower with a galvanized base dug down in the ground. My house is equipped with a number of copper-clad grounding rods. The tower is connected (via my shack) to the grounding rods.

I used sacrificial anodes made of Magnesium to protect my buried galvanized guy anchors. There was a good article in QST a while back on how to do this. I am not sure if it is in the QST archives but
