Hi Guys, I wondering which of the methods below would be more efficient with less loss and make the most sense for a 150' run of coax. A) Two separate coax runs to a Force 12 Delta 2/40 2/30 yagi and

Paul, I can't think of any reason not to use the single run with the remote switch. I have used this method for ~fifteen years and the same switch for about ten. Should make a very nice antenna setup

I can think of one reason to not use a single run and switch: it will prohibit you from using more than one antenna at a time, such as for SO2R contesting or for a mult station. Even if you're not in

I suppose it depends on your operating technique and needs. If you want to chase DX one band at a time I would go with the switch. Should you want to contest you might consider seperate feed lines so

That's a pretty small run. I'd go with some 7/8 hardline for the antenna for 10/15/20 ( this stuff can be picked up surplus pretty cheap) , and some decent coax for the 40/80 stuff. If you can afford

I'm putting up a new tower myself, I used a run of Buryflex to the tribander, then a run of LMR 400 to a switch for the other antennas (Wires and verticals). I think these do fine for shorter runs on
