A better fix for stripped threads than a new casting is to use a stainless steel Helicoil (+ other brands) insert. The correct metric kit (M8 x 1.25) is available at most auto stores/amazon etc. Kits

I have had G2800-DXA rotators in windy Aruba and have not had any such issues using the factory hardware. I am wondering if the G800 is the proper rotator for a 10 element HF beam. Did you use the or
