Why the tower? The tramline should be attached a couple of feet above where the antenna will be mounted. If the antenna will be mounted on the mast, then the tram line needs to be attached to the mas

Thanks for the advice. The antenna is F12 C-4XL (30' boom, 65 lb) and will be mounted two feet above the top of the tower. I like the idea of rope loop on the mast with carabiner. A mountain climber

I am thinking this depends on weight of antenna and strength of mast. Just to be safe I am planning to buy a roll of polyester rope to back-guy the tram line. Keith NM5G Is a TH6 on R25 w/2 in. mast
