Coulda fooled me. I get the same (or very close) on the EHS end, or the Phillystran and it seems as if I've seen others make the same statement. But with the gage designed for EHS AND EHS ends on the

Phillystran. Well, the Loos was designed for sailboat rigging so they don't have any experience with anything else. As you put tension on wire rope or similar material it becomes more rod-like. At th

Why? I checked the tension on my HPTG6700 using a Loos PT-3 and the readings seems consistent with the tension on the 1/4" EHS leader. John KK9A <snip> BTW the only Phillystran you can measure direct
