Two feedlines to the SteppIR is not a bad idea, but would take some engineering. Have one fiberglass tubes for 40 through 10 on the driven element and two reels for belerium copper strips in two diff

There is almost always some simple combination of lumped components that would transform impedance up or down on 40 without affecting higher bands. Often it is just one component. 73 Tom ___________
