Of course, it depends on which SteppIR antenna you're talking about. FWIW, I have a stack of three 4-el SteppIRs. When set for 20m, the 4-el SteppIR is pretty-much the same as a standard 4-el yagi wi

My 4 element SteppIR has been up 7 years now with absolutely no mechanical woes. I took it down last August because I took a lightning strike that pretty well wiped my station out. There was no light
