I have a pair of stacked C3i 2-meter beams. The boom to mast mount is just a u-bolt with a TV like mast clamp. The boom is fairly small diameter and isn't strong enough to really tighten down on the

The boom to mast clamp won't affect the resonance of any parasitic element... unless you're implying that one of the elements would have to pass right through your extended mounting plate? -- 73 from

Nope, and the mounting plates will be raised by the thickness of the saddle clamps. I',m just going large enough on the plates to keep the things stable on the cross boom. Thanks es 73 Roger (K8RI) _
