Can someone tell me if they have ever used roofing cement on the ground studs before installing them in concrete. I'm thinking that doing so will extend the life of the studs. thanks Jim -- FAQ on WW

I used roof tar on all metal I put in concrete. Just dipped the long bolts or slopped on tar on re-bar cage. Who knows if it helps. Point is , can it hurt? I think not, so I do it. GOING OFF TOWERTAL
