Now that the #25 foldover is (finally) on it's way back up, I thought of an inexpensive method of protecting my underground feedline that I don't recall having seen described. Here's what I might try

I think a close fitting hose covering for buried coax is a bad idea because --since there is a little space there for water and no real space for it to easily escape, there will be water there tween

One "trick" we used when installing direct burial cables is to put old boards, like 2x4 scraps, on top of the wires to keep a shovel from cutting the wire when being uncovered years later! Even after
