I am looking for antenna and installation advice. I am looking to install a tri-bander 10-15-20 on the side of the self-supporting 80 ft Trylon tower at around 35 ft above ground level to stack with

You might be able to use a ring rotator.  I have never heard of a side arm mount on these towers because of the taper.  I have the T-600, it is currently on the ground, moved it.   It was pretty wigg

If you are going to phase the antennas you should use the same Yagi as your upper one plus the same feedline length. It can be difficult to find enough open space to side-mount modern interlaced trib

Hi John, Thank you for your reply. The height of the antenna mount should be around 40 ft or so to be a compromised distance for 10,15 and 20m. Building two identical yagi does not look like an optio

The C31XR-JK has a central open area of 50", which was just enough to allow for a ring rotator. It was tight. 50" is not quite enough to accommodate a swinging gate on AB-105 tower, as I have here. D

If your tower has legs made out of angle iron instead of tubes or pipe, you may want to have a structural engineering analysis done. Angle iron strength varies greatly depending on the direction of a
