Hi, Has anyone experienced rotator / plate mounting bolts loosening up, to the point of falling out ? I have had 2 cases of this happening, which were discovered this weekend. Both rotators were T2X'

Matt, Although now that the holes are greased, it is probably too late for this, you may have been much better off with "Service Removable" (usually blue) Loctite instead of the grease on the threads

you bet...have seen this on my own ham iv rotator...one bolt was, literally, hanging on by a thread.! guess you gotta tighten 'em up occasionally. probably gets loose from rotator torque. -- FAQ on W

Hi Matt, I suspect you have some misalignment in the rotator system. I also think you can probably fix it by loosening up the rotator mast clamp bolts, the rotator to shelf bolts, and the shelf ubolt
