I have a set of Irwin "easy-outs" that include reverse drill bits. I've had really good luck removing stuck set screws with them. The first step is to drill the screw with the appropriate size bit. S

Yes I was thinking standard drill bits. You could try an easyout once you get a smaller hole but that will only help if the reason you cannot remove it is a stripped hex. FWIW, I had two Yaesu G-2800

To help break loose the setscrew, put in an allen wrench and smack with it a hammer to break it loose. You likely can't do it well with an angled wrench, so cut the end off so you can tap it hard. Ho
