I put my A3 with A743 dipole in the air in 1984 and it's still there with the truss rope intact. I'll be taking it down later this year to put up a new SteppIR in it's place. I've been curious about

Bill: You might use the small Phillystran 12001 3/16" which is made for booms, etc. I used it as the center element support and element alignment on a Mosley Classic 33 WARC with the 40m kit for more

Finally completed enough tower climbs to get a diagnosis on this. The line was frayed in two at the center. Part of the problem was that I didn't quite install it correctly. The instructions call for
