Mc-Master Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com) has all this sort of thing, delivered to your door a couple days later, but it's not necessarily the least expensive source. Use it when you can't find anothe

I'd suggest McMaster-Carr, www.mcmaster.com for everything you need. They're often cheaper then anyplace else (BUT NOT ALWAYS), and have an incredible selection, and technical information to go with.

Hi Bob, After 25 years in this game, I would disagree that there's been no change in antenna design. Yes, the fundamentals are inalterable. Folk who have tried to claim such are snake oil salesmen. M

Hi, Bob; You may find that computerized design has given us better optimized antennas, especially of the more complex antennas such as Yagis. Very slight modifications give us trade offs of bandwidth

Lots of changes in antenna technology. Not in the metal or construction technique (although there's a lot of nice composites available today), but in the design and analysis. Back in the 50s, antenna

That is categorically not true. Computer modeling has revolutionized antenna design, so we're using much stronger magic now. (Let's not take the Harry Potter line of argument any further... but I'm m
