planned I the are mark? with. That's what I'd do. The crossover marks are the minimum for guy wire attachment. The Preformed grip installation technique is basically the same for all Preformed grips.

I'm using the 1/4" big grips with the 1/4" EHS so it has a yellow mark. According to my invoice from Texas Towers I purchased 42 1/4" PREF BIG GRIP BG2144. The part numbers for the Phillystran type b

I may be wrong, but the big grips I purchased from Texas Towers for 3/16" EHS bore red stripes and 1/4" EHS bore yellow stripes. Each big grip had a small paper tag in the curve that verified it was

I dug this out of the archives I have at http://www.qsl.net/mparc/towers.txt << Preforms are color-coded for EHS wire sizes. The coding is: 1/8" Blue 3/16" Red 1/4" Yellow 9/32" Blue 5/16" Black 3/8"

Non Resonant ? NOT EXACTLY 27 ft is self resonant pretty close to 18 MHz., placing it between 15 and 20 Meter half wavelengths, but certainly NOT non-resonant. Personally, I like to use 12 ft lengths
