How do, QST, Oct 2014 had article on adding 40 meters to a 24 ft boom Yagi (feedback in Dec 2014).. I also seem to recall that there was an article years ago on the subject, maybe adding to a 204BA..

An old QST article (April 1974) shows how W9RX added a full length 40M aluminum tubing dipole to a TH6. You would probably have to dig up the magazine or the article may be available from the QST arc
