Good Morning, If I put a 5 element 15 meter beam 40 feet above a full size 40 meter 3 element beam will they work ? What would be the result ? I have heard that both beams will suffer. Best to ask

A quick modeling does not show problems with 40 foot spacing. If there are issues rotate the boom on the 15 meter by 90 degrees. Doc / k8do _______________________________________________ ___________
Why would the 40m beam be effected by the 15m? It is unlikely that the 15m beam will have much interaction from the 40m beam that is almost a wavelength away but it is easy to model. If you have just

My 40m yagi is 5m above the 15m yagi and influences the front to back on 15m, but by far less then the second 15m yagi 14m below it. 73 Peter, DJ7WW Why would the 40m beam be effected by the 15m? It

I wouldn't expect to see interaction from the elements if they were perpendicular, but MAYBE from the boom. An easy way to check for interaction between antennas is to model the victim as a dipole wi
I'm coming a little late to this conversation, but maybe my experience will be illustrative - I had a tribander at 97 feet, with a 2-element 40-meter short yagi about 10 feet above it. Until I turne
