Don't overlook 6061T6 aluminum - 2" OD with .25 or .375 wall thickness. Lightweight (relatively), no, you can't put a monoband 40m beam 10 feet above a thrust bearing but within the specs, it works v

I've never seen 45G with anything but welded sleeves. Don't forget that Rohn made some tower sold only by Motorola that was just like 20 and 25 but slightly larger that was referred to as 35. Terry I

I have used one for about two years on a Rohn 55 tower. If you are working at one level for a long period of time, they make a huge difference in leg fatigue being completely vertical vs leaning back

Take two pieces of 1 1/2" angle iron about 8" long and bolt two sides togeter, you now have a T with a 3" side (1.5 + 1.5) and the leg of the tee is 1.5". Drill across the 3" face for two, 2" ubolts.
