The second, lower, thrust bearing is VERY handy when you need to remove the rotator without first removing all the antennas on the mast above the top thrust bearing. Ed W0YK bearings spaced about 3'.

Yes, and it's been excellent.  Make sure the correct tool is exactly matched to the connector, though, and used properly.  Mismatches and misuse cause much of the problems with crimp connections.73,E
