I just took down two Universal Towers this past week and I am finding the 3/8 bolts are almost completely rusted through in the center of the bolt.. Both of these towers have been up about 10 years.

I just went through that with the bulkhead. I ended up taking one of the panels out of my basement window and replace the vinyl window frame with a frame made up from treated wood with a 1/8 inch alu

Yes the Pot in the Yaesu G-1000DXA rotator looks like a ordinary pot. The one I have got zapped by lightning and was open. I took the back cover off the pot and found the wire burnt off at one end. I
