Mike, 18 months ago here in Western WA, the foundation for my UST  TX472 used approximately 7.5 cu yd of 5000# and I paid about $1500 including the concrete pumper. I paid a couple of guys $1000 to d

That's what I needed to do though, only 50 feet of pump line was needed. It worked sweet and IIRC, cost was less than one bucketful of money*. See http://www.tinyurl.com/wa7prc-tower  for purty pitch

For future reference, Mac's Chain Lube is available from NAPA stores as pn 1370 for about half the cost of PreLube 6, and the local NAPA stores stock it.  According to datasheets and MSDS I've mined,

The MSDS PDF file that I have from Grignard Co Inc in NJ disagrees with that. It lists the main ingredient as: "REFINED HEAVY PARAFFINIC DISTILLATES/LUBE OIL BASE STOCK" Since these recent postings,

Hi Mike, To tilt/telescope my UST TX-472 + F12 C-4XL yagi, I use a refurbished Milwaukee Super Hawg (13A, 400rpm) that I found on eBay for a couple hundred dollars. The Ridgid unit can be had for les

IIRC, my US Tower TX-472 + Force12 C-4XL goes up/down in a little over 30 seconds, using a Milwaukee Super Hawg (pn 1680-20) that runs at 450rpm. It pulls 13A at full load and should not be confused

I may not be quite correct about the length of time but, whatever it is, it ain't much. Because I'm using the Hy-Gain HD300 rotator, the top section of the TX472 won't _QUITE_ crank all the way down.
