Mike,   C Rural wire is available from your local telephone company.  I usually get the stuff that is wrecked out and of not more use. It is #14 copper clad steel and it has a pretty heavy copper.  S

One thing I really enjoyed about the older - 1950's vintage stuff - C-Rural Wire was a roll of it smelled like Skunks had blasted it. Must have been a high Sulfur content rubber in which they encased
