I'm happy to that, although this time my antenna was only 7 m (20+ ft) above ground (full size Inv V), I managed to log 12 NA stations in an hour or so on the air. NO2R was loud at the beggening and

I think it was possible for T9/9A3GZ to work 300 QSOs on Topband, considering he was using a 56m broadcasting vertical and he was on full time. I spent 4,5 hours on Topband during the 9A contest and

I fully agree with Steve's comment - tail end, although I rarely use it, is one of the most beautiful pile-up experience, if used (not abused) on both ends, so it should be used only in such cases wh

Carl, congrats on the detailed analysis. Out of curiosity, I checked only 5B4-USA QSOs between 1 Sept 1999 - 1 July 2002, when the smoothed sunspot number for Cycle 23 was above 100. As 5B4ADA/C4A I

Well said Ken, although solar minimum is what all Topbanders are waiting for, the fact is that long path, summer, cycle peak etc DX can still be worked on Toband if you are there at the right time. 7
