I have a ten tec centurion fan in it is very quite. if you want to hear fan noise get a Ameritron 1200,1500, or al 82 then you can listen to fan noise. If your centurion fan has noise get a new one f

Hmmm... maybe it is that easy to fix ! I will call TT next week. $12 would be fine... although I think mine is still under original warranty. I can say, however, that my fan noise is not unbearable -
