When ever I press the split button on my Omni VI the meter display light dims a little and the signal that I am listening to changes frequency for a short duration. (milli-seconds) Is this normal? If

Hi - This seems normal. My OMNI 6+ does the same. A bit more DC current is required to run the split mode, etc, and the switch-on pulse makes a very short (mS) voltage dip that affects the 12V bus. I
