I'm looking for a punchy, crisp, clear, hand held microphone to use with my Scout and Corsair. I have had good success with a big "D-104" but of course that is not very practical for mobile work <g>

I have used the Heil handheld with my Cosair and it worked great with good reports. Since I don not mobile my Ten-tec any more. I have replaced the element in a D-104 with one of the Heil elements th

The Heil can drive a Scout or Corsair, if you match it right. The hand held D104 might be a tad fragile for mobile, as crystal mikes do not like heat. Dynamic or electret are better. The hand held Te
