i would like to get an all-mode ten tec. i was thinking about a paragon or paragon II, delta II (if you can find one) etc. the new ten tec's like the orion and omni models are a bit out of my reach r

One solution for this is to get a Tokyo Hy-Power HL-100Bdx. This is a solid-state "brick" amp for 80-6 meters that puts out 100 watts and uses RF-sensing switching so no amp control link is needed. W

The Hy Tokyo .... pardon the spelling... amps which are sold by Ham Radio Outlet..... have a amp for I think 5 watts in and 100 watts out. I had thought about getting the Argonaut V and the Amp to us

Paul, I just checked the HRO Web site. The THP amp you are speaking of, the HL-100Bdx, is not sold there due to FCC rules. It is perfectly legal for licensed hams to use, but not to sell commercially
