Mark, There is a 'Keep Alive' feature where the Pegasus will go out of TX if it doesn't receive communication from the host computer within a short time. As documented in the Programmer's Reference G

The timeout is 2 seconds and you can turn it off or on with my software. But w4chl may be referring to the EXT T/R line which is user setable from zero to about 2 seconds to control how long a linear
