- Hey guys, I got no response to the Omni V question so let me try this one thought at a time. How good are the TenTec CW filters? Are they good or should I go with Inrad? TenTec 250 and 500 hz filters

- Good data Dave, Thanks! What I see is the TT is a bit wider and the skirts aren't as steep but the ultimate rejection is much better than the Inrad. Between the two, I'd go TenTec. Am I missing somet

- The Inrad filters have the steeper skirts, but.......the response rises up again a ways out!! The Ten Tec filters do NOT. So, sort of depends upon what you want the filter to accomplish. I had an Om

- Someone might correct me on this, but I think the INRAD filters have 3-4db more insertion loss. John N1JM The Inrad filters have the steeper skirts, but.......the response rises up again a ways out!!

- My experience: If one wants a good CW filter by the Tentec filters. If one wants a good expensive filter buy the INRAD. I can't hear or measure the difference in the slope between the Tentec 250 Hz C

- I concur...have both Paragon II and Omni 6 plus, Option 3. both rigs maxed out on TT filters. Paragon sounds a bit better on ssb plus gen coverage reciever...I use mine to keep track of the ssb nets
