Hi I have acquired a fantastic Ten Tec Corsair II, I love this rig ...but... There must be a mod to improve the note of the CW sidetone when transmitting CW ? It is horrible.. and sounds almost like

Naw, its too rough for a square wave, its a saw tooth from a relaxation oscillator. I cleaned one of those up once by putting a resistor on the discharge side to make an equal sloped triangular wave,

Thanks to all who responded to this topic on Corsair sidetone, I did not realise this issue had been raised before. I would agree, and intend to do so the solution is to rebuild the sidetone oscillat
